Edi Levisman PT
Edi received her degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Buenos Aires in 1975. Her background and training is in Kinesiology, Exercise Training, and Sports Injuries. She is also actively involved in Low Light Laser research for the treatment of soft tissue injuries and pain management.
Esther Alfi PT
"Esty" received her degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Tel Aviv, Israel in 1981. Her background and training is in Manual Therapy, Incontinence, NeuroMuscular Re-education (Feldenkrais). She is also actively involved in Low Light Laser research for the treatment of soft tissue injuries and pain management.
Barbara Carroll OTR/L
Barbara Carroll OTR/L is an Occupational Therapist with an Advanced Practice License in Hand Therapy and Physical Agent Modalities. Barbara received a degree in Sports Sciences from Long Island University, Brooklyn, NY in 1992 and a degree in Occupational Therapy from Keuka College, Keuka Park, NY in 1995. Barbara was mentored at the Hand Meetings led by Dr. Charles Melone, Jr. along with Dr. Steven Beldner and Dr. Daniel Polatsch at the Beth Israel Hand Surgery Center, NYC, 2002-2005. These weekly meetings enhanced Barbara's knowledge in dynamic surgical procedures, case studies and pre/post operative protocols of the Hand & Upper Extremity.
Barbara's expertise in Hand & Upper Extremity Rehab include and are not limited to Static and Dynamic Splinting, Wound/Scar Management, Manual Therapy, Pain/Edema Control, Ergonomic Re-Ed, Fine Motor Coordination/Hand Dexterity Training, Home Exercise/Strength Conditioning Programs, Modalities, Activities of Daily Living Skills, Patient Education.
Barbara is a current member of the American Society of Hand Therapists and the Los Angeles Hand Therapy Learning Group. She is also a per diem therapist at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, LA and Saint John's Hospital, Santa Monica when she is not providing 1:1 therapy of the Shoulder,Elbow,Wrist & Hand in private practice.
